Attendance
For our children to gain the greatest benefit from their education, it is vital that they attend regularly and every child should be at school, on time, every day the school is open unless they have an unavoidable reason to be absent. Any absence affects the pattern of a child’s schooling and regular absence will seriously affect their learning.
The school day starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.20pm.
Morning registration is between 8.40am and 8.50am.
The total time per week is 32.5 hours from September 2024.
Late arrival
Pupils who arrive after 8.50am must go straight to the school office at the main entrance to sign in and give a reason for their lateness.
Absence
If your child is going to be absent, parents must inform school as soon as possible and at the latest by 9.20 am on the first day of absence by calling school on 01772 746024.
Please find attached our Attendance Policy, along with some documents released from Lancashire County Council on the new legal changes.
