Admission Arrangements for September 2026
Please check our website from September 2025 where we will post details of Open Days happening in the Autumn Term for parents of children who will be starting reception in September 2026.

Middleforth CE Primary School is a voluntary controlled school, and Lancashire County Council (LCC) is the admissions authority for community and voluntary controlled schools.

Applications must be made on-line via the Lancashire County Council website (the new form (2026) is usually available from September for the following year's intake) - to apply for a Reception place click here.
Please note, we do not require a supplementary information form (SIF).

Reception places 2025
The closing date for September 2025 reception class admissions was 15th January 2025 and offers will be made to parents by Lancashire County Council on Wednesday 16th April 2025.

In-Year Admissions
Since 1 November 2021, the LCC Area Pupil Access team has been responsible for co-ordinating all in year admissions, irrespective of the year group, and schools do not maintain waiting lists for places.

Parents should contact LCC Pupil Access directly on on 01772 532109 if you wish to discuss your application, as we do not manage this process.
