All parents of children at our school are members of the Friends of Middleforth School and are very welcome to come along to our meetings, which are held each term. We have a core of 'active committee members' who give their time and energy on a regular basis and many others who join us when they are available. We're always pleased to welcome volunteers to contribute to meetings or help out at events. Its a great way to get to know other people with an interest in the school and have some fun along the way! The FMS arranges events such as Family Bingo Nights and Family Fun Nights, Fashion Shows and Children’s Discos, which are an opportunity for the school community to get together and enjoy socialising with other families. At the same time, funds are raised to support the work of the school. Any offers of help at these events are always most welcome – selling tickets, manning stalls or serving refreshments.

FMS 100 Club
In order to raise funds for the school, the Friends of Middleforth School set up a ‘100 Club’ in September 2013. The money raised is used to provide resources to support the school’s Creative Curriculum and other much needed extra-curricula resources and activities.
Membership of the 100 Club is open to anyone - parents, other family members, staff and friends of the school.
In order to become a member, a payment of £12 for the next 12 months ( £1 For each month). You will then be given a number between 1 – 100. A payment of £24 would give you 2 numbers etc.
Payment can be made by cheque (payable to The Friends of Middleforth School), cash or by standing order
A draw takes place in the last Celebration Assembly of each month and the numbers drawn out win cash prizes. A 1st & 2nd cash prize is given each month.
The general principal is that 60% of the money collected goes into the FMS funds and 40% is given out as prizes. The size of the prize will depend on the number of members in the ‘100 Club’.
