Current Christian Values
Christian Values Consultation 2017
Our Christian Ethos Group, the 3C's have been looking at our Christian Values here at Middleforth. We believe that the Christian Values and Fundamental British Values promoted at Middleforth are values which are important within our Christian school community and which will be important throughout our lives. They underpin all we do in school and we strive to share, encourage and demonstrate positive values in order that we may understand them and grow to live by them.
We currently have quite a few values that we are struggling to remember and would like to reduce this to possibly six or eight core values that will drive everything we do here in our school. We have put together a list of values and would like to ask you to vote for the four you think are most meaningful for our school. We would like every family and friend of Middleforth to have their say. All families will be sent a letter home, however, should you not receive a copy extras will be available from the school office. Please discuss these values at home with your families, which values represent us as a school? Please send your reply slip back by Friday 15th December 2017.
Middleforth School subscribes to Imaginor who support spiritual and moral development in schools. They provide 'Home School Values' which are fun activity sheets based on our christian values for children and their family to do together to stimulate discussion and reflection. This is not homework and is used most effectively when parents are really enthisaiastic about exploring the value at home with their children. Please use your descretion as some parts will not be suitable for younger children. If you would like to download some of the Home School Values please click here.
